PLASTIGUM AG - PRODUCTS
Plastigum AG specializes in the efficient production of customer-specific elastomer products. The product geometry ranges from seals in general to the most complex cubic housing seals with countless integrated functions, from wheels to rollers. We are also a leading manufacturer of valve diaphragms. Depending on the product requirements and ambient conditions, natural rubber NR or synthetic rubber such as silicone VQM, EPDM, CR up to FPM/FKM or FFPM/FFKM are used. The smallest products weigh less than 1 gram, the largest over 4 kilograms.
Technical moulded articles
Products
Moulded articles made of elastomeric materials, also in combination with metal, plastic and fabric. We have approx. 50 vulcanisation presses in various sizes and work in compression and transfer processes. Large quantities are produced on modern injection moulding machines.
PTFE semi-finished products and production parts
Products
In the field of plastics, we specialize in PTFE turned parts. We also sinter PTFE with additives such as bronze in the desired geometries in order to mechanically process products from it as economically as possible. These can be seals, piston rings and general guide rings, turned or engraved bellows, etc.
PTFE non-stick coatings
Products
We offer ten different PTFE coating systems for different functionalities. These are non-stick coatings for pans, moulds of the chocolate industry, glue basins for example for the bookbinding industry, electrical insulators for high-voltage lines. The sliding ability of rubber products for installation with PTFE coating is significantly increased. However, these can also be used for decoration, corrosion protection, chemical resistance, etc.
Rubber rollers and rollers with fine grinding
Products
We coat your rolls in the diameter range from 10 to 130mm and lengths up to 700mm with all rubber compounds from our portfolio. Centric grinding also takes place at our Diessenhofen production site.
Rubber Metal Plastic Fabric Joints
Products
The bonding of rubber to metal, fabric or plastic parts is based on chemicals. This connection is so strong that a violent fracture always occurs in the rubber and thus the connection to the metal parts, fabric or plastic parts remains largely undamaged.
Perfluor (Plastiperfluor)
Products
In our rubber portfolio there are well over ten perfluores for the most varied requirements such as highest temperature or chemical resistance. Other perfluors can be used dynamically down to approx. -20°C. In addition, we offer the chemical bonding of perfluores to metal parts by means of a specially developed adhesive, which withstands very high mechanical stress.
