Elmet AG specializes in metal/rubber and plastic/rubber compounds of all kinds, with its own elastomer development. When acoustic or mechanical vibrations cause problems in technical equipment, there is a need for effective sound and vibration isolators. Investigation of the sources of interference enables our specialists to select the right materials and suitable part geometries. Elmet AG has been working in the field of vibration and damping technology since 1982 and can therefore advise you with extensive know-how.
Elastoflon AG specialises in standardised rubber products such as O-rings and valve diaphragms as well as customer-specific rubber products and provides expert advice during development. We also specialise in plastic products in general and in particular in PTFE precision turned parts as well as PTFE coatings.

1948Foundation of the company in Diessenhofen on the Hochrhein and start of the production of soling materials
1969
Switzerland's largest shoe sole manufacturer: 12,000 pairs of soles per day and approx. 600 tonnes of rubber per year
1974
Acquisition of Schneider Dichtungstechnik Winterthur and start of production of rubber and PTFE moulded parts
1976
Relocation to Diessenhofen, to the location of Plastigum AG, as well as renaming and change of the legal form to Elastoflon AG, continuous development of competence in consulting and trade with rubber and PTFE moulded parts
